The Objectifs Documentary Award champions Objectifs’ mission to broaden perspectives through image making, by supporting original voices in visual storytelling in Singapore and the wider region. The Award enables photographers to work on new or existing projects, encouraging them to tell stories about their native communities. It welcomes different creative approaches to non-fiction storytelling, from conventional documentary photography to visual experiments. Projects may be presented in still images or use multimedia.

Successful recipients will be given professional and financial support to work on their projects over a 6 month-long period. The final works will exhibited at Objectifs in May 2026.

County Hall Pottery is a vibrant new ceramics studio and gallery dedicated to celebrating and supporting the art of clay in all its forms.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic ceramic artist/designer/potter to join us for a year-long residency. The residency provides the time, space, and resources to experiment and produce a new body of work. If you are ready to take your practice to the next level and join a dynamic new organisation that is set to become a significant name in contemporary ceramics.

Eligibility: This opportunity is open to applicants aged 18 and over who have prior experience in ceramics and are comfortable working independently. The Xi’an Culture & Trade Hub is a landmark project in the historic city of Xi’an, China, developed as part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative to foster collaboration and cultural exchange among Central Asian countries and with China. The project features five pavilions, each representing one country. To bring these pavilions to life, we are launching an open two-stage competition to design and create five contemporary art installations (one for each pavilion) that will serve as iconic symbols of cultural identity and creativity.

Reclaiming Post-Industrial Futures is a multi-residency programme exploring forgotten industrial heritage sites in Romania as places for collaboration and community building, designed and developed by EUNIC Romania. It involves eight cultural institutions operating in Romania - the British Council, the Czech Centre, the Embassy of the Netherlands, the French Institute, the Italian Institute for Culture, the Cervantes Institute, the Polish Institute and Fundația9, each engaged in supporting one residency. The project was framed by this consortium of European partners, in collaboration with curator Ilinca Păun.

The exhibition Living Labyrinths will explore themes such as symbiosis, biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and the role of fungi in shaping our world. The selection panel is looking to commission two artworks that breaks down traditional boundaries between disciplines and engages with complex scientific concepts through a lens of critically engaged, contemporary art. During the process of creating new work, you will have the opportunity to visit RAMM’s stores, be inspired by the museum’s collections and work with its curators.

Eligibility: RAMM is seeking two artists based or working in the south west to produce regional-specific work. We are looking for artists working in any medium except photography and moving image, such as drawing and painting, sculpture or textile. Artists should have a track record of exhibiting nationally.

What you get: RAMM is offering £6,000 for the commission fee in addition to the production budget, limited to a maximum of £2,500. A fee of £300 will also be paid to each of three shortlisted artists to produce and present a proposal for the selection panel.

The Exhibitions Hub is pleased to launch its fourth Alumni Commission Award, in partnership with the Institute of International Visual Arts (iniva) and Camden Art Centre.

Following 6 months of research with iniva’s archive, the selected artist will develop new work to be presented as part of Camden Art Centre’s Public Programme in December 2025. Artists can work with any media, but the work should be designed for a live environment. The outcome is intentionally open to allow for creative experimentation and interdisciplinary approaches.

Canal Convergence seeks proposals for outdoor, temporary public artworks to be featured in, around, and suspended above the Arizona Canal at the Scottsdale Waterfront in Scottsdale, Arizona. Canal Convergence will be on view for 10 days, from Nov. 7–16, 2025. Of the final selected artworks (typically between 8 and 15 artworks), one project will be selected to remain installed at the Scottsdale Waterfront for an additional month after the Canal Convergence event dates. This call is specifically targeting outdoor, light-based installations. Nighttime presence is required; daytime is encouraged.

Eligibility: All local, regional, and international artists, artist teams, architects, designers, and multimedia specialists are invited to submit proposals. International artists who apply must include remote installation as an option in their proposals.

The 14th International Showing of Sound and Interactive Art will take place in Madrid in March 2026. In 20 years of IN-SONORA’s trajectory, we are still eager to give support and visibility to experimental artistic proposals related to interactive and sound art. Launchpad is an initiative that works across all art forms to mentor and share their ideas and showcase their work as part of BlackInk, a magazine focusing on Black arts, heritage and cultural politics published each year for Black History Month. For Launchpad 2025, the commission seeks to support artists to navigate multifaceted ways of working by developing a project that translates across a print magazine and online content.

Eligibility: Independent artists from the African, African Caribbean and Latin American Diaspora and based in the UK (including England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and British Isles). Serendipity are looking for proposals that would be suitable for publication in a print magazine but also can be creatively adapted for online formats.

What you get: Launchpad is offering artists a feature as part of BlackInk Issue 6 (published in October 2025) and online, a £750 fee, support and mentorship, opportunities to build industry networks, and consideration for future opportunities.

The "Anomalous Mathematical Patterns", international sci-art competition organised by the Isaac Newton Institute, UK invites all artists worldwide who are 18 years old or older to participate. The entry must be connected to the mathematical themes as described on the contest website. There are three competition categories: Photograph, painting, film, print, animation; Textile, sculpture or other medium; AI and computer-generated art.

Eligibility: The contest is open to artists who are 18 years old or older.

What you get: The contest features multiple awards: £750 each for the top entries in photography, painting, print, textile, sculpture, and computer-generated art. Additionally, each category has a £300 runner-up and £150 honourable mention. Public voting will award a £750 People’s Choice Prize, and a £500 Programme Participants' Choice Award will be selected by participants from the 30 finalists.

Founded in 2023, Women in Art Fair is dedicated to redressing the gender imbalance in the art industry. This year the Fair is launching the Women in Art Fair prize to honour three women artists whom the jury believe show exceptional talent. FLAMIN Productions is now open for applications until 31 March 2025.

Part of Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), FLAMIN Productions aims to support the most exciting, innovative and challenging moving image projects with development and production finance. In 2025, FLAMIN Productions will be investing production funding through an award of £40,000 for one project.

Eligibility: Applicants who have been making moving image work and practicing professionally within the art world for over five years since graduation or equivalent. (Applicants do not need to have engaged in higher education to be eligible for the programme). Applicants with a track record of producing moving image work that has been exhibited or distributed and reached significant audiences. Applicants whose main address is in England. Applicants cannot be students at the time of applying and not intending to be students during the development and production period (including full-time and part-time education and PhD research). Projects must be at concept stage or in development (the fund is not suitable for production-ready projects or projects part-way through production). Note: FLAMIN Productions supports visual artists, who have chosen film as their medium, to make new moving image artworks. Though these creative works may be shown in a variety of contexts, including cinemas, the scheme does not support mainstream or genre-led film-making. Film London delivers other commissioning and support schemes for feature film and short film and these may be more appropriate for some projects. Modern Painters, New Decorators are pleased to invite proposals from artists, based in the UK, from Africa or the African Diaspora for an exhibition commission. This is an opportunity for an artist to realise a project with the support of Modern Painters, New Decorators as part of our new exhibition programme focusing on folk cultures and ecology. The project will be the very first exhibition presented in our new gallery space and arts venue in Loughborough, East Midlands, opening in September 2025.

The second in a series of three works funded by the Heritage fund, Cody Dock will commission an artist or creative collective to design a public work to illustrate the rich and endless history of the Lower Lea River, focusing particularly Pre- industrial period.

We expect the artist to take inspiration from the dockside carts that vendors used to sell their wares in London’s docklands, to produce a publicly engaging, outdoor work that will be moveable around our site.

Eligibility: Any individual artist or collective. Applications from Newham will instantly be added to the shortlist.

What you get: £5400 fee, including production budget. Support through R&D and production processes as well as marketing once work is completed. The work will be revealed on 21st September 2025 and will remain as a permanement exhibition on our site.

Magmart | video under volcano is an international videoart festival, which over the years has seen the participation of more than 1400 artists from +80 different countries, with thousand submitted videos.

The Festival is open to all international videoartists. Participation is free. Between all submitted video, will be done a final selection based on vote of a Jury composed by experts. The 30 selected artworks will become part of CAM Museum permanent collection. All sended materials don't will be return, and will be stored in the Festival's archive like documentation.

The Social Art Award 2025, an initiative started by the Institute for Art and Innovation (IFAI), invites artists from around the globe to submit their visionary works under the theme: “Planetary Healing – Blue Tribes for Ocean Health.” This year, we focus on the urgent need for ocean restoration, biodiversity protection, and fostering harmony between humans and other species. We encourage submissions that showcase innovative ideas, compelling narratives, and creative visions to inspire coexistence and planetary resilience.

Eligibility: The Award is open to anyone aged 18 years and over. There are no restrictions based on gender, age, training, or nationality.

What you get: The jury selects the Top 100 submissions, which will be published in the official Social Art Award 2025 Book. From the 12 finalists, the jury will select the 3 winning artists, honoring their exceptional contributions to this year’s theme. The first winner will receive a 1,000 EUR prize. Profiles seeks portraiture across all visual media for the fourth issue of our literary and vis-arts journal. We’re open to experimental twists on the definition of ‘portrait’ — we want to see a vibrant personality, however you’ve captured it. Selected artworks will appear in print and be featured in our exhibition at the James Joyce Centre in Dublin, Ireland, in November 2025.

Profiles is an independent journal dedicated to character studies and portraiture, supported by Dublin City Council. We feature work by writers, translators and artists living in Ireland and abroad.

East Quay is pleased to offer a 5-week residency to a Somerset-based artist, in our sought-after Studio 10 Project Space here at East Quay. The residency will run as part of our contribution to this year’s Somerset Arts Week’s Open Studios Festival, which will take place between Saturday 13 - Sunday 28 September 2025. We’re inviting the public to submit their brightest idea for an artwork to be produced and exhibited at Lumiere 2025. You don’t need to be a practising artist or have any previous experience to apply to BRILLIANT, you just need a BRILLIANT idea. BRILLIANT is a national commissioning scheme aimed at encouraging creativity across the UK as well as highlighting brilliant ideas from people living in or originally from the North East.

Eligibility: Anyone aged 18 or over and currently living in the UK can apply, with a particular focus on individuals from or based in the North East, especially Durham.
