About the Exhibition
August 31 - September 28
The New England Regional Juried Exhibition is a juried show featuring the best of representational painting, drawing, and sculpture by regional artists who work in the realist tradition.
The exhibition will be on view in the historic President's Gallery at the Guild's Newbury Street location, which features a skylight to allow viewing of artworks in natural light.

Submission Guidelines
Artists must complete and submit the entry form by July 20, 2024
Work must be representational with a strong academic background.
Accepted painting and drawing media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, graphite, charcoal, scratchboard, pen and ink, and pencil. Please check if using any other medium.
Prints (including giclées), kits, and AI generated art are ineligible. Using a print as an underpainting is also prohibited. The Guild has a preference for work done from life rather than photographs. Although works done from photography are not excluded, preference is given to work done from life, especially when the jurors are making the awards.
The submission fee is a flat fee of $50.00 for non-members. Associate Artists are exempt from the fee. The fee is one amount whether one, two, or three images are submitted. We accept high resolution (at least 300 ppi) digital jpeg images only! No slides or photographs, please. Artists retain all copyrights to submitted images and represented artwork. By entering the competition, artists selected to exhibit grant The Guild of Boston Artists the rights to use the selected image(s) on social media, the website, and printed materials for promotional purposes as well as the online show posted on The Guild of Boston Artists website.
All submissions should be clearly labeled with the artist's name, title of the work, size, medium, and retail price. Prices of the work must be established at the time of submission; no changes are allowed after a work is accepted. All works must be for sale with a retail price included. If a painting is sold, artists receive 55% of the sale price.
(The director retains the right to exclude work that significantly differs from submitted images or is not appropriately framed. Metal frames and unframed works are not permitted.)
The Broadway District of Green Bay is seeking visual artwork proposals from artists of all mediums (painting, drawing, textiles, photography, ceramics, etc.) to create five vinyl graphics wraps to be installed on DPW utility boxes located throughout select public spaces in the Broadway District. This project is intended to transform plain utility boxes into visually appealing, enjoyable additions to our public spaces.
Professional or amateur artists working in two or three-dimensional media are invited to apply for the Civic Center Rotating Art Gallery. The gallery is located in the Civic Center (525 West Cota Street) on the first floor. Exhibits are scheduled for 12-week periods. More than one artist's works may be exhibited at one time.

The WAE Open is not thematic; rather, the exhibition seeks to showcase the highest quality visual art being made by established, emerging, and underrepresented artists.

Artists are invited to submit 1-6 photography works responding to the theme, without limit to genres, techniques, and styles.

Artworks will be printed (Epson giclée print) and framed by us and shown in the group exhibition;
Chinese-English bilingual online feature on our website;
Chinese-English bilingual digital catalog;
Chinese-English bilingual promotion on Chinese and international social media.
COPYRIGHT
The artist retains the sole copyright for the images;
Submitted images can be available for public viewing on our website and social media, including in relation to promotional activities for the exhibition;
All display images will be credited with the artist’s name.

$50 up to 6 works;
Submission fees are non-refundable.
ADDITIONALLY
Independent & Image Art Space will charge a 20% commission on artwork sold during the exhibition.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Gallery Ring announces an art contest and exhibition all about blue. The artwork must be driven by the colour blue, which must occupy the majority of the territory or be the focal point, purpose, subject or meaning of the composition.
The deadline to submit work is Thursday, May 23rd 2024. The fee is $20 US for 1-3 artworks.

2D artwork including photography/digital is eligible. Winning artists receive a digital Award Certificate. A SHOW OF HEADS is a thematic group exhibition of work that includes and/or is based on all interpretations and portrayals of the Human Head, from the traditional to the abstract and conceptual.
