The Dover Prize

The Dover Prize is open to any UK-based creative practitioner, individual or collective. Applications are welcome from artists working in the visual arts fields including: painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, digital art, filmmaking, performance and installations.

We’re looking for bold ideas, a commitment to experimentation, and a willingness to connect with communities in and around Darlington. The prize offers a £10,000 bursary and tailored support to help you develop new work and grow your practice.

Eligibility:

UK-based artists, partnerships or small collectives working in visual arts disciplines.

Architecture, Design and Fashion Biennales and Festivals Grants

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to support:

Eligibility: Festival or biennale organisations. Designers may apply directly with confirmation from the festival. At least one party must be UK-based. Projects in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan are not eligible.

Open Call: Performance Week at “Once a Sea”

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites local and international artists to apply for Performance Week, part of the exhibition Once a Sea, exploring the emotional, ecological, and cultural dimensions of the Caspian Sea.

We welcome proposals in performance, time-based media, text, and participatory practices. No language or fee requirements.

Selected artists will take part in workshops and public presentations at YARAT.

Eligibility: Artists aged 18 and above working in performance, time-based media (video, sound, digital), text, or participatory practices are invited to apply. We especially encourage submissions from artists based in the Caspian Sea region (Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan), though the open call is also open to artists worldwide. There are no language restrictions, and both emerging and established artists are welcome.

Development Manager

As Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Nottingham Contemporary's ambitious development strategy to increase income, in collaboration with the Senior Development Manager who holds the overall responsibility for targets and strategy. Ensuring excellent stewardship of all supporters and a strong pipeline of donors and funders will be essential.

Eligibility: We're looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to write compelling cases for support. The ideal candidate will be innovative, pro-active and able to adapt easily as a creative problem-solver. A team player, you'll relish working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

What you get: Salary: £28,560 - £32,000 dependant on experience

The Print Center's 100th ANNUAL International Competition, USA

The ANNUAL is open to local, national and international artists, and The Print Center is particularly interested in highlighting the use of photography and/or printmaking in new and intriguing ways, both in content, form and process.

Any artist using Photography and/or Printmaking as critical components in their work can enter. Artists whose work pushes the boundaries of traditional photographic and printmaking practices are encouraged to enter. 2D and 3D works, including artist books, are eligible.

Viridian Artists Annual International Juried Exhibition, USA

Viridian Artists Gallery is having its 33rd international juried exhibition.  It will be Juried by Jim Kempner of Jim Kempner Fine Arts. Thirty artists will be selected with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes awarded.  Also, included will be a Director's Choice digital exhibit to be on view during the exhibition.  The deadline to submit is Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.  The exhibition will run from Tuesday, July 15th to Saturday, August 9th, 2025.  An opening reception will be on Thursday, July 17th from 6 to 8pm.
